Congratulations to our 2021 Middle School Chess State Champions – The Nicollet Knights!

This past weekend (April 10/11), Nicollet won its first state title in chess in the history of the school. Congratulations to the 20 participants that aided in this.

The team scorers were Rynaldo Mejia (4^th place trophy), Jacob Shoenbauer (6^th place trophy), Owen Steglich (11^th place trophy) and Jeenal Sharma.

Other students who participated in the tournament included John Blomer, Isabelle Burtnett, Aiden Callenius, Kerry Crawford, Mavryk Eastman, Winston Ekstrand, Alec Erickson, Mitchell Kellen, Owen Krick, Soren Leafblad, Kenny Moe, Mason Pederson, Spencer Pederson, Thomas Pritchard, David Santos and Harrison Stage.
